Supplies needed to make your own boredom buster bracelets:

A quick word about supplies: the friendship bracelet kit actually comes with floss but my kids have been crazy about neon lately so I went with the separate pack of neon embroidery floss. Consumer Crafts has tons of embroidery floss options so you’re sure to find one that fits your needs.

Begin by cutting 24″ strands from two different colors.

Bunch the strands together and tie a knot at the end.

Slip a pencil directly underneath the knot and tie another knot just below it. This will create the loop you’ll use to secure the bracelet in place around your child’s wrist.

Following the color coded shapes, begin placing the embroidery floss onto the wheel. Remember to make sure that the knot ends are hanging down through the center hole. Follow the diagrams on the instructions sheet to begin making your friendship bracelet. Continue repeating the steps until the bracelet is long enough to go around your child’s wrist.

Remove embroidery floss from the wheel and tie a knot at the end. Cut off excess embroidery floss.

Push the end knot through the loop section you created at the beginning to place on wrist. How fun and awesome is this Summer boredom buster friendship bracelet!
